and Catherine Koyle and their family's involvement in the Limousin
industry for the past 29 years extends to all facets of the business....
from organizational leadership to the show ring to breed performance
improvement. They are proud recipients of the Ontario Beef Cattle Performance Award in the past and enjoyed receiving honors as the Premier Breeder & Premier Exhibitor at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2003. Most recently, Koyle took the Premier Breeder & Exhibitor Awards at the 2007 NABC and Royal Winter Fair Busy with the daily operations of a construction business that they own, Dwight and Catherine find the time and are committed to the Ontario Limousin Association, where Dwight is currently President.
Their children, Meghan, now a registered nurse, Melissa, a school teacher and Martin, who has completed his Mechanical Engineering Degree and is now working in that field, have enjoyed the involvement of 4-H and the Ontario Junior Limousin Association over the years. In the past, the Koyle Farms cattle have been exported to Australia, Brazil, Mexico and the United States. They operate a diversified breeding program mating fullbloods, polled red and blacks, all contributing to their successes and achievements over the past 29 years in the industry.
